So I too have fallen victim to the subtle lip colors everyone is wearing--the "barely there" nudes and the sheer gold shimmers....For the holidays, I'm thinking of doing a little switcharoo, putting the nude colors on hold and kicking it up a notch; going back to candy apple and fire engine reds :).... After trying on my Mom's red-red the other day, I was convinced that this was the right decision! The overall brightness and glow that came after the addition of the rouge tone was a phenomenal! You should try it out too, it's holiday time!

Sometimes it's the things you least expect, that do wonders for your skin. For an ominous glow, tap into your pantry to make this simple sugar scrub; a tablespoon of brown sugar & tablespoon of lukewarm honey. Mix together, apply to face in a circular motion and rinse with warm water. You'll be surprised at the natural glow revealed!

So we're just burgeoning on the reality of those cold wintery days that require us to take extra care of our skin and "hydrate, hydrate, hydrate"! In my quest for lip hydration, I stumbeld upon this amazingly delicious Dry Grape Gingerale lip balm--it's extremely moisturizing and even has SPF for further protection of your precious puckers:)! Great for wearing alone if you're going for a natural look or under your favorite lipgloss color if you want to be a bit more glam! Enjoy:)
